Troubleshooting DS-100

  • Verify the red LED can be seen when the door opens and closes.

    If the LED does not illuminate, verify the batteries do not require replacement

    Verify the magnet is installed 2cm or less from the sensor.  Remove the sensor from its back plate and pass the sensor near the installed magnet to verify if moving the sensor closer allows the red LED to illuminate. 

     
  • If the LED does not illuminate in any case, the sensor will need to be replaced.
