Troubleshooting an LCD device

  • Verify the LCD is powered by 12VDC either by a blue cube transformer, or by the provided power supply for a tabletop (LCD-1T) version.
  • If the LCD is not controlling any devices in the guest room, verify it is installed in the proper room.
  • If the LCD is installed in the proper room but is still not controlling any other Evolve device, verify the device is properly “Installed” in a network.  Power cycle the LCD and verify that it reads INSTALLED along the bottom of the screen during boot-up.  If it reads NOT INSTALLED, “replace failed” the device via programming.  If it reads INSTALLED, reset and “replace failed” the device via programming.
